Anyone in need of a few — well, OK, a LOT — of laughs would be well advised to attend a performance of the rollicking musical comedy “Monty Python’s Spamalot” at the Mac-Haydn Theatre in Columbia County. That was the latest event on SRC’s “Summer Casual Schedule.”
After most of the contingent met for dinner, they caught up with a few others on Thursday night for hours of original music; high-brow — and some very-low-brow — comedy; clever speeches and horrid puns, and excellent singing and dancing by a spirited cast.
NOTE: Our final “Summer Casual” event is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, August 24, when Ray Hannan will host us at Eastwyck Village.
