A break in the current cold snap is forecast for Thursday, which should make attending our 6:15 p.m. dinner meeting an even more pleasant prospect than usual.
After the Quigley’s kitchen staff serves up one of their excellent roast pork entrees — with antipasto salad, chef’s selection of side dishes, bread, dessert, and beverages — we will hear from Jim Neidermeier, principal of Tech Valley High School.
That promises to be a very interesting talk, updating us on what is going on at the innovative school located on the campus of the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering in Albany. Jim was honored in September by the New York State Council of School Superintendents for his commitment to education and project-based learning.
As always, if you are not on the RSVP list below but wish to join us (guests are welcome, too), please be sure to contact dinner coordinator Debbie Brown at mdbrown@nycap.rr.com no later than Tuesday so we can be sure to have sufficient food and seating ready for you. Those already reserved:
