We entered the homestretch of the renovation project on our meeting room at Quigley’s today with “Painting Party I.”  On Sunday, we’ll take on “Painting Party II,” but need more volunteers. Please let Murray Forth or Roberto Martinez know this evening if you can help.

Today’s crew consisted of Murray and Roberto as well as Terry Brewer, Jim Leyhane, Geoff Brewer, Maggie Forth, Charlie Foote, Pat Bailey, Peter Brown, Phil Kellerman, Andy Leyhane and the kiddos, and Kevin Leyhane.

They labored from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a break for lunch, painting walls, ceiling, trim, the cabinets and display case Murray installed earlier, and a little bit of the carpeting by mistake. Murray also put up some additional wainscoting and trim.

Anyone who shows up tomorrow is advised to wear painting clothes and maybe bring a few brushes.
