Usually we have a Tuesday deadline for dinner meeting reservations, but our next gathering is anything but a meeting — and the RSVP deadline is today!

This Thursday is our annual Holiday Party & Themed Gift Basket Silent Auction, set for 6 p.m. at Quigley’s. Event coordinator Debbie Brown is accepting reservations until this evening via email to mdbrown@nycap.rr.com.

We look forward to seeing everyone Thursday evening, SRC’s last event until the New Year.

The price per person is just $25 each for a loaded buffet — roast beef and eggplant parm entrees, chef’s choice of side dishes, mashed potatoes, antipasto salad, bread, an assortment of desserts, and a surprise appetizer — PLUS a self-serve bar with wine, beer, and soft drinks. Guests are welcome as always, but an RSVP is necessary.

And, while you’re partying, you can get in some late Christmas shopping by bidding on the themed gift baskets that will be available through the popular silent auction we hold each year to help support our many community service efforts.
